Andy Robinson or Robbo, as he is popularly known as, is a rugby union player and coach who used to play for Bath Rugby at the club level. He also has achieved a number of international caps playing for England. Robinson was born on the 3rd of April in 1964 and used to play as a flanker. However, he did not play much in the international level and has only eight international caps under his belt. Out of these, he has won in four matches.
Andy Robinson had also had a long experience of two years as the head coach of England Rugby Union team from October 2004 till the 29th of February in 2006. He took over from Clive Woodward, the World Cup winning coach. However, he had to resign after a spell of unsuccessful tournaments. Andy Robinson was quite popular as a rugby union player during his time and is still regarded as one of the best players among his contemporaries.
