South Jersey Rugby: The southern part of New Jersey in the United States of America is known as the South Jersey. South Jersey is highly influenced by Philadelphian culture.
The South Jersey Rugby Football Club or the SJRFU is the rugby club of South Jersey. The club is a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union or the EPRU and the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union or the MARFU. The South Jersey Rugby Club is located at Cherry Hill, NJ, in the Metro Philadelphia area.
The South Jersey Rugby Club supports A & B sides. Apart from these two teams, there are also an Old Boys team and Under-19 teams for boys and girls. The division season pf the club continues between September and November every year. The club also plays in a ten-week spring season, when a long tour is organized. The other programs arranged by the South Jersey Rugby Club include a summer 7's program and a tour of Lake Placid during August. The jersey used by the members of the club team is green and white in color. Blake jersey with green stripes in hands is used by both the Boy's team and the Girl's team. All the jerseys display the logo of the South Jersey Rugby Club on them.
The South Jersey Rugby Club is sponsored by a number of companies. The club purchase jerseys and game and practice equipment with the sponsorships. Their participation in various tournaments and the post-game parties are also sponsored by these companies.
