Fiji is a small island on the Pacific Ocean. As it was part of the British Empire, rugby was introduced in this island towards the end of the nineteenth century.
The Fiji Rugby Union was established in 1913 as the Fiji Rugby Football Union. It came to be known by its present name since 1963. The Fiji national rugby team is currently ranked No.12 in the world. They have taken part in a number of international tournaments.
The national rugby team of Fiji dons white jerseys with a black collar. The jerseys also have black stripes on its shoulders. The front of the jerseys is designed with sky blue mesh stripes. The jersey has two logos on it on the front side. On the left side is the logo of the Fiji Rugby Union. The right side of the jersey carries logo of the sponsors, KooGa. The logo of the sponsors is embroidered with red and blue. The back of the jersey is also designed. It carries the Fijian flag as well as a number. The numbers help the fans to spot the players easily. The shirts are made of polyester nowadays instead of cotton as it is more durable.
