Dew

Introduction
Dew is a kind of water droplet that falls down to the surface of earth in the early morning and in the evening. It is a very beautiful weather phenomenon. If there is an open object, you can watch the water droplets on the surface of that exposed material.
Especially the thin objects are mostly seen with these kinds of water droplets or dewdrops.

The cause of Dew formation
When the surface of an object becomes colder as a result of sending its latent heat out, the existing moisture in the atmosphere contracts among itself. This is how the small droplets of water are formed and these are known as dewdrops. Sometimes due to the low temperature in the atmosphere, the dewdrops turn up into the small particles of ice and this called the frost. That means dew and frosts are all the different states of water itself.

During the summer season, you will see dewdrops in the leaves, petals of flowers, grass and various lower surfaces of things. This is because the dew is associated with surface temperature. So during the summer months the conducted heat from the objects comes out very easily and the dewdrops are formed soon.

Difference between Guttation and Dew
Sometimes people get confused between the guttation and dewdrops. Guttation is the process through which plants discharge their extra amount of water from their bodies. These water droplets are also seen in the surface of the plants, leaves, and flowers. However, these are completely different from the dewdrops.
