Introduction:
The weather in the mountainous regions is known as the mountain weather, which is a very popular type of weather. Weather is a temporary status of atmosphere that changes with change of time and place. Weather in a plain lands quite different from the weather in a mountainous region. Mountain weather is one of the various types of weather with its individual features.
- The nature of Mountain Weather:
The weather in the mountainous areas is generally very cool. Since the altitudes of these regions are very high from the water level, the temperature becomes very low at that height. The amount of rainfall is also very high in those locations compared to the plain lands. That is why the climate of those regions is generally cold. The winter months under the mountain weather are generally very cold and the summer months are relatively mild in nature.
Most of the time these mountainous regions face snowfall and thus the temperature falls down to a lower level. These high lands also suffer from violent winds and thunderstorms from time to time throughout the year. The amount of sunlight is however high in these parts of the world because of the insolation.
Places under the Mountain Weather:
Some of the countries where you can enjoy the coastal weather are South America, North America, Europe, Oceania, etc. California also comes under the category of coastal weather.
