Flashes

Flashes in photography are used for various reasons like capturing quick moving objects or creating a different shade of light than the ambient light. However,the primary reason for using a flash is to illuminate scenes that do not have adequate light. Having evolved from single use flash bulbs and flammable powders,flash units today are electronic.

In the simple and basic cameras flashes are built directly into the camera but in more advanced and hi- tech Cameras separate flashes can be attached via available accessories.

There are different kinds of Flashes,these include:

With Built in Flash there is nothing much to improvise upon. One just needs to understand the available flash modes and the different levels at which the flashes can be set.

The quality and color of a picture can really be improved with an External flash. These External flash system helps to reap maximum advantage of the various features of the camera.
A Ring flash is special kind of flash that is fit around the lens and while capturing a picture it throws a circle of light on the subject. This kind of a flash is specially utilized by the medical students.
