Street Photography
Street photography is a kind of photo art which is taken any where of any one or anything while passing by any street of any country, in a most casual way. The approach of street photography is very realistic and truthful, because it features the rare moments of life directly from the streets, without distortion and make-over.
By Street photography we also refer to the photographs taken in most typical contexts, at the common public places like malls, sea-shores, parks, marts and in the on-road political gatherings.
Street Photography is a kind of documentary photography which represents a picture in its true color, which means it disclose the real self of the subject quite artistically with out painting it with any creative artificiality.
The history of Street photography is quite old. In the beginning of 20th century, some of the street photographers revealed the true nature of European and north American street culture which include shops, vendors, customers of different age, and economic standards, beggars, hawkers, surrounding scenery etc.
Golden period of street photography was from 1890 to 1975. In U.S.A Street Photography is a popular phenomenon and law does not prohibit street photography unless anything obscene is photographed.
The natural pragmatic images from streets are quite lively and appeals to our outlook extensively.
