Astronomical Photography
Astronomy is an interesting field of study and so is astronomical photography. Revealing the beauty of the universe it is astronomical photography that helps to capture the wonders of nature forever. Apparently, astronomical photography seems to as simple as taking pictures of the sky but actually it is the most difficult section of photography which requires the dual knowledge of photography as well as astronomy.
Astronomical photography is easy to get started with but at a higher level it can be very complicated and difficult. For beginners it is advisable to start from the ground level.
Some tips that the novices can begin with:
Go to the library and read all of the back issues of Sky and Telescope.
Learn the important stars and constellations of the night-time sky.
Learn about right ascension and declination and setting circles
Read some introductory material about getting started in astronomy as a hobby.
Buy some good basic general introductory astronomy books
Join a local astronomy club.
Start looking through a lot of other people's telescopes at star parties and other observing outings.
