form of photograph which is basically an image created by the projection of light on a light-sensitive surface. This surface can either be a photographic film or an electronic imager like a CCD or a CMOS chip.

A camera is the fundamental tool required to capture a photo. The camera is equipped with a lens that focuses the subject's wavelengths of light into an image of what the naked human eye sees. The overall procedure of capturing photo is known as photography.

The still photo is considered generally the basic production of photography. Though the motion pictures like film or video are not conventionally considered to be the sequences of photographs, they are included very much in the section of photographs in the modern times.

To capture a photo is no child's play. You have to learn the basics of photo capturing either by enrolling yourself in a photography school or going through world renowned photograph books. To learn photography you have no other option but to try your hands with a camera in your hand and click photo with a visualization. Before you capture a photo, you should be sure of your subject. You have to visualize the subject and then arrange the position of your subject.

To give that photo a heart capturing effect, you must arrange the proportion of light to be focused on the different positions of the subject.
