PDAs
PDAs are the abbreviation used to describe the ‘Personal Digital Assistant’. It stands for the handheld organizer and computers that are used to handle and shifting of data. Initially, the function of PDAs included holding calendar information, notes and names and addresses. Dated back in 80s the famous PDAs in UK were known as the ‘Psion Organize’. Presently PDAs are powerful device that connects to the Internet and office networks, with in-built cameras, players and videos, and a huge range of add-on software to satisfy customer demands.
Personal data assistants or PDAs are basically the handheld computers that were initially designed as the personal organizers, but with time it has transformed into a more multitalented device over the years. PDAs are also recognized as palmtop or pocket computers.

Newer PDAs are sleeker with color screens and audio capabilities. PDAs can also be used as smart web browsers, mobile phones, or portable media players. Lots of PDAs can access intranets, extranets and internets via Wi-Fi, or Wireless Wide-Area Networks also known as WWANs.
