The silver collector coins as is apparent from the name itself are collector’s items that highlight the peculiarity of the age and also the people. The obverse of the coin shows the building “Berlaymont” along with the 12 stars indicating the ‘Commission europeene’. The reverse depicts HRH, the grand Duke Henri and bears the indication ‘LETZEBUERG’ besides the Euro symbol and the imprint of 2006. The smooth edged coin has a diameter of 37 mm, a thickness of 2.2.mm and a weight of 22.85 grams with a face value of 25 Euro.
