Variscite

Variscite is a lovely green gemstone belonging to the phosphate group and is not found in abundance. The colors vary from light hues of green with bluish tints to darker shades of green. Often it is mistaken for chrysocolla or green colored turquoise because of the similar shade. It gets its brightness due to the presence of small amounts of chromium.
