Heart of Eternity Diamond

The Heart of Eternity diamond is a rarest stone belonging to the category of famous diamonds of the world. Being a unique stone, the “ Heart of Eternity” was discovered in the Premier Diamond mine located in South Africa. This precious diamond is heart shaped in structure and has a fancy vivid blue color. Initially, it was owned by the De Beers group but now it is unknown as to whom this unique gem belongs. The blue diamonds are the most sought after stone in the world.

The scintillating blue diamonds has a very lower production rate. The premier mine is the only source of these kinds of rare stones. The precious Heart of Eternity diamond is a colored stone which was cut out from a big stone. The actual gem weighed around seven hundred and seventy seven carats. The rough diamond was cut into three pieces. The bigger piece came to be known as “Millennium Star” and the other part of the stone became the “ Heart of Eternity”. In the year 2000, the Heart of Eternity diamond was being displayed at the exhibition of the De Beers collection of jewelries.

Apart from this gem, other dazzling blue diamonds were also showcased in the collection. The event took place at Millennium Dome in London. The De Beers Millennium jewelry collection was a major successful event which continued through out the year 2000. Again, during the display of the rare Heart of Eternity diamond in the Smithsonian museum, the gem was taken as a loan from a person. It was said that the stone was being sold at the time of the exhibition, which took place at the Millennium Dome located in London.
