1993: The launch of Mosaic browser is made public. This is a browser like Erwise and ViolaWWW which is made for UNIX computers o X-Windows.
1994: The Alpha1 Release of Mosaic 2.0 was the first important browser that supported HTML.
The release helped because of correct usage of the TEXTAREA factor. The third Alpha of Mosaic 2.0 also provided strong support to the STRONG and EM factors. The launch of Alpha 8 launched the first important browser to support HTML 3 tables and several HTML 3 Character style factors.
1995: The Beta1 Version of Mosaic2 provides support for custom form submission buttons and the XMP factor. Consequently, the launch of Beta 4 and the last version, improved on the factors of Heading and P elements and provided support for Netscape Navigator1.1
1996: The Beta 2 and Beta 3 versions of Mosaic are available for mackintosh platform only. These versions do no improve on HTML functionality.
1997: The last version of Mosaic browser is launched, which can now support all platforms.
