Songbird

Songbird is a curious blend of a web browser and a digital jukebox and is therefore known as a “desktop web player”. It has been built from Mozilla just like Firefox. It resembles Winamp in supporting feathers and extensions.

The previous projects of Songbird includes Yahoo music engine and Winamp. The mission of Songbird is to transform it from a web player to an open “Media web”. It does not support stealing music in any possible way, therefore adheres to a bill of rights of DigitalConsumer.org.
