Netscape Version 6 and Newer

Salamander a unique Gecko-Based web browser is mainly meant for Linux/GNU, which uses GTK+/GNOME libraries. Like other uncommon browsers, Salamander implants the Gecko layout engine. The latest version, which was released on December 13, 2003, is 0.5. Apart from the GKT+/GNOME libraries Mozilla 1.4b or above is needed to run Salamander.

A web browser is a software application that allows the user to demonstrate and communicate with text, images and other information, which is typically located on a web page in the World Wide Web or a local area network. Salamander helps you to interact with these web pages. Some of the well known web browsers accessible for personal computers include Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera and Netscape, however Salamander is not useful in this case as it is mainly meant for Linux/GNU.

Linux, which supports Salamander in the best way, is one of the most pronounced examples of free software and open source development. Its underlying source code can be modified, used, and redistributed by anyone, freely. The uses for LINUX are
