Madfox

Madfox is a web browser. This is a Gecko-based Browser, based on Mozilla Firefox. Robin Lu who was a Chinese developer, introduced this browser. Madfox was a trial to increase the non-standard capability with the Internet Explorer of Firefox by using links to Gecko engine. From the viewpoint of Graphical User Interface, Madfox was quite similar to Mozilla Firefox and fully capable, with the extensions, themes and plug-ins of Firefox.

Features of Madfox

Madfox, the Gecko-based Browser has the following features:
  • It is fully compatible with Firefox extensions
  • Html content-type handling
  • The Madfox has enhanced ability to access Html element by Identification.
  • It uses javascript identification method
  • Selective support of xml-data island
  • There are many IE compatibility features Date value tolerance has been refined
  • Content-disposition tolerance has been refined
  • Madfox browser is a compatible browser, as it is supported by a very effective browser-Mozilla Firefox. This project was, however, stopped in the year 2005, in the month of October. This project has been considered as a retired one. The last version of Madfox 0.3.2 u3 was based on Firefox 1.0.7. The Madfox makes browsing easier for the users. Mozilla Firefox takes care this project. All the information created by this program is licensed under Mozilla Public License 'MPL'.
