K-Meleon

K-Meleon is an important type of Gecko-Based Browser which is meant for Win32 platforms. K-Meleon is a free and very fast paced web browser with great amount of flexibility. K-Meleon was launched under the GNU General Public License and is based on Gecko layout Engines.

Features of K-Meleon

The interface of K-Meleon is shaped in such a way so as to permit great flexibility. K-Meleon is endowed with highly modifiable features. For example the menus and toolbars can be modified which proves to be very useful in situation where the browser is handled by the general mass such as in libraries and cyber cafes. K-Meleon is known to make use of the native port of a Window. However, one important feature of this web browser is that it is available with its own “browser themes” and “plugins” which add to the effectiveness and look of the browser.
