AWeb-II

AWeb-II is a web browser which was made especially for the Amiga computer systems. The credit of its creation goes to Yvon Rozijn. Since then the AWeb-II has gone through many generations of evolution. Its various versions graduate as v3.0, v3.1, v3.2, v3.3, v3.4.

Features of AWeb-II, Version 3.3 Following are some of the significant features of AWeb-II, version 3.3:
  • You can add your own entries because the menu of AWeb-II has now been made entirely configurable.
  • The Navigation buttons are now available which you can hide by choice. This gives a full screen display of the desired article.
  • ARexx plug-ins - Cache Control, Drop Zone, Modes, and new floating Tool Bar are now made available or better service.
  • You can save the web pages that you choose to view as IFF images.
  • The AWeb-II avails better Java Script dealing and even the advantage of turning off an error reports that might disturb you while surfing the websites.
  • You now have the option to hide/show advertising pop-up windows.
  • You can deal with more JPEG formats thanks to the modified image plug-ins
  • Passive FTP option for better operation through firewalls.
  • The updated version of AWeb-II 3.3 gives better cookie compatibility option. The cookie-lists are no more separate files.
  • ARexx commands have been updated.


The AWeb-II version 3.4 has an additional Spanish language catalog which allows you to change the language mode to Spanish.
