NetZero
NetZero is a Web Hosts and Internet Service Provider company located in Woodland Hills of California. Besides being the owner of BlueLight Internet Services and Juno Online Services, NetZero is also a subsidiary of United Online.
The company was launched in October 1998. BlueLight Internet is a sister concern of NetZero. It was run by Kmart and Yahoo! along with NetZero, and offered free Internet access to the users. In lieu of displaying ads on a permanent toolbar on the various email servers, NetZero promised to offer a free Internet service when it was launched. The company’s sister wing was previously owned by Simpli and RocketCash, before it was taken over by NetZero.
