HTML E-Mail

HTML E-Mail is the electronically generated mail that has been composed in the HTML format. HTML E-Mail is not as commonly used as the ordinary text E-Mail format that is used most of the times during Electronic Mail.

Introduction :

The abbreviated term HTML expands as “Hypertext Markup Language”. HTML is the most well used markup language. Markup Languages are used because they combine text with extra information and other types of formatting about the text. Markup Languages are basically there to enhance the presentation of the written material. Apart from the text formatting there are many other things that the HTML E-Mail form simplifies. Among these other features are the inclusion of inline links and also images.

Thus, HTML E-Mail can be simply put as an E-mail written in the HTML format or script. The other format in which E-Mail is composed and conveyed commonly is called the Text E-Mail.

Process to Compose HTML E-Mail :

The preliminary processes of composing HTML E-Mail are basically the same as writing any other mail via the electronic medium. However, given that it is electronically generated there are some additional steps.

  • The first is to access the ID of the email.
  • Next is to select the option marked as compose in HTML or the like. Once the application has opened up, the user has to write out the email address of the recipient.

Composing the mail is then done following the HTML E-Mail rules and regulations. Once composition of the mail is over, to send it the user has to click on the button called “Send”.
