Internet Option Functions
Internet Option Functions help to change the Internet Options. There are different tabs, which have different functions. These functions can be modified by the user using the Internet Option Functions. Internet Option Functions provide the user with various options regarding home page set up or security measures or privacy options.
Types of Internet Option Functions
The Functions of Internet Options can be divided into the following categories:
General: This tab helps you to change or select the home page. Then there are temporary internet files like files and cookies, which can be deleted from here. The history of internet pages visited is also stored here. You can select the number of days for which you want the history to be available or even can delete the history completely. Security: This offers you the option of choosing from Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites and Restricted Sites.
Privacy: This function gives you the chance to set the privacy option according to your preference.
Content: This helps you in rating and identifying the web page contents.
Connections: This tab allows you to set up the type of internet connection you want. You have the choice of dial up, Virtual Private Network Settings and Local Area Network (LAN).
Programs: This allows you to specify the type of programs while opening an internet page.
