 World Population Health
Since health as a whole is gradually becoming an issue of concern the time has come to properly understand the state of world population health. A study of the world population health shows how the life of states and their people are changing. Data on the total world population helps us understand and get a comparative picture about the broad differences between the lifestyle of people living in the various parts of the world.
The most important characteristic of world health population is that it is growing steadily. As per the last records, the world population stands roughly at a little more than 8.6 million. With a vast majority living in the urban areas and civic amenities being limited, health hazards of all this people have gone up manifold. Further, pollution being one of the key features of urban life, most of the population living here suffers from serious health problems. Effects of Global warming, radioactive elements and nuclear sciences leave their mark on the world population irrespective of regions or countries.
The other main issue that continues to haunt world population health is the rapid rise of HIV Aids among world population at large. With Sub Saharan Parts of Africa being the most infected, the count continues to rise steadily in all countries. As per current data, more than 30 million people are suffering from HIV AIDS and more than 95% of them are from developing countries.
Malnutrition, low fertility rates, infant mortality rates and death rates at large seem to be a feature of the population living in Sub Saharan Africa, some parts of Asia and some other developing and under developed nations across the globe.
