World Health Organization

World Health Organization was set up by United Nations in 1948, with an objective to provide health services world wide. This service includes health awareness programs against Family Planning, HIV, Epilepsy, and other major diseases, distribution of free medicines among the poor section of the society, and so on. According to WHO, ‘health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’
