Good nutrition and balanced diet helps us to look good and feel healthy. Improved nutrition and smart eating habits should be encouraged at every stage of life. The best ways to keep fit and healthy are:

  • To have regular family meals
  • Family meals offer the chance to introduce children to new foods and find out which food the child likes and which one he dislikes
  • Have a variety of healthy foods and snacks
  • Avoiding battles over food
  • Eating plenty of fruits, vegetables and grains

  • Include yogurt, peanut butter and celery, or whole-grain crackers and cheese
  • Serving lean meats and other good sources of protein, such as eggs and nuts
  • Choosing whole-grain breads and cereals to get more fiber
  • Limiting fat intake by avoiding deep-fried foods
  • Choosing healthy cooking methods like broiling, grilling, roasting, and steaming
  • Limiting fast food and other low-nutrient snacks like chips and candy
  • Limiting sugary drinks, such as soda and fruit-flavored drinks
  • Drinking plenty of water
  • Drinking milk regularly ( calcium intake strengthens bones)









But it's quite inconvenient to maintain these steps with our hectic and busy schedules. That’s why fast and junk foods have replaced our traditional food.

  • Cool soups and gravies
  • Adding salsa on a baked potato instead of butter
