 Institute of Child Health
UCL Institute of Child Health is a joint project by Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust (GOSH) and UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH).
UCL is the largest center, contributing in childhood illness research internationally, outside US. They treat the sick children with personalized care, also teach and trains children’s specialists. UCL is specialized in bone-marrow transplantation, and adolescent health care.
Services and facilities
Family services:
This includes accommodation for parents, within and around the hospital, which is free of cost.Bilingual doctors and staffs, interpreters are also available, but they have to be booked by the patient parties before hand.
The social service department is provides moral support to the family members of the sick child.Volunteers are there to accompany the parents of the affected children, and to take to the patient wards.
