When our body organs function properly we lead healthy lives. But to ensure good health we need to take care of hygiene. This in turn ensures a sound and peaceful state of mind.

Hygiene is the most effective way of protecting ourselves from a lot of illness. To maintain proper health and hygiene we need to take proper care of our daily activties i.e. we need to do our work in a clean and tidy manner. A few important aspects of Health and Hygiene are




  • Proper Hand Washing especially after toilet, before and after eating food, after handling dogs and animals, and after meeting a person infected with a disease.
  • By eating food prepared in clean conditions, food cooked properly, and food like fruits washed properly.
  • By bathing and washing ones body regularly with soaps and shampoo.







  • By wearing clean, washed clothes particularly socks, under wears and briefs.
  • By wearing shoes that have been dried in the sun to kill bacteria present due to foot sweating.
  • By brushing teeth regularly. Using mouth washes or sprays if required.
  • Woman need to clean themselves properly after menstruation.
  • By cleaning genitals thoroughly after sex.
  • By handling infectious objects like syringe and sponge with gloves.
