 Family Health Issues
Family Health is a major concern for man. Whether unmarried or married, excepting or with 2 children, young or old couples, life at all stages is accountable to risks and damages. To keep away from any kind of illness whether short lived or prolonged disease, of oneself or family members, determines the family environment –economically, psychologically and sociologically. Therefore, it is enlisted as #1 in the priority list.
Family health is concerned about not only physical fitness of all individuals but also the mental well-being of individuals. Some of the family health issues are:
1. Environmental Issues - Location of the house, its environment and society.
2. Weather conditions – Climactic nature of the place, temperature, rain, summer heat, winter snowing, all prevails the condition of family members of the residents.
3. Pollution and neighbors’ awareness – Environmental issues and their hazards. Social awareness in order to improve the hygiene and wellbeing of the society at large.
4. Family nitty-gritty – Whether a broken family or a close knitted family all are subjective to the physical and mental health of members.
5. Parenting – At adolescence of a child
6. General Health and care – Short term injuries or prolonged illness, like anemia, cancer, asthma, diabetes, cancer, heart attack, obesity, weight loss, yoga and meditation etc.
7. Food habits - Fitness, diet and food, Exercise.
8. Maternity Problems – Like serious birth disorders, baby issues, breastfeeding, etc.
9. Healthcare For Elders – Elders are important part of the family. Taking special care for their health is important.
10. Friends, Relative and Acquaintances – The group of friends and acquaintances of each member is also responsible for family health problems.
