 Family Health
Healthy life of family members is the first priority for all human beings settled in their life. Whether unmarried or just starting a married life or a married couple with a new born are all concerned with the primary health of the individual members. To keep away from any kind of illness whether short lived or prolonged disease of family members determines the family environment –economically, psychologically and sociologically.
Family Health is mainly concerned about Physical and Mental fitness:
- Hospital-surgical policies
- Regular physical health check up
- Controlling Cholesterol
- Controlling Blood Pressure
- Regular food habits, including, healthy and nutritious food
- Follow dietician’s instructions
- Exercise regularly
- Do not smoke or use tobacco or drink too much of alcohol
- Lose or gain weight if you are over or under weight
- Don't sunbathe or use tanning booths
- Practice safer sex and use contraceptives
- Go for regular check up if under medication (in case of prolonged illness like cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung disease and injury)
- Consult proper health clinic centers and doctor (including specialists or psychiatrist)
- Follow doctors’ tips and doses
- Counsel from Rehabilitation Centers if addicted to drugs.
