Liverpool University of Performing Arts

The Liverpool University of Performing Arts was established in 1996. The university specializes in subjects related to arts and entertainment. Acting, Dance, Music, Sound Technology, Arts Management, Technical Theatre and Theatre Management are the areas of specialization. It is the only institution in the UK completely dedicated to providing higher education in performing arts. The university also has a cultural centre. Each year, the Liverpool University of Performing Arts runs two public productions.

Courses :

The library or Learning Resources Centre at the Liverpool University of Performing Arts provides books, electronic resources, reference resources, e-books, CDs, DVDs, videos, journals and e-journals.

The Cultural Centre :
The Liverpool University of Performing Arts has an inbuilt cultural centre. There are two main performance spaces, many rehearsal rooms and seminar and workshop rooms, six recording studios, five large music ensemble rooms and 18 sound-insulated music practice rooms. There is also a stagecraft studio and design rooms.

Accommodation :
No accommodation facilities are available for students.

Scholarships :
The Liverpool University of Performing Arts does not provide any internal scholarships for its students. External Scholarships may be available. Government funds and grants for higher education are available for UK and EU students.
