Coventry University is internationally famous and well-known for the high quality Education and Research programmes it provides. Coventry College of Design, as it was known when it was established in 1843, had undergone several merges and often renamed before it got the title Coventry University in the year 1992.

Library
On September 2000 the new Library building was built known as the
Lanchester Library. The library has a separate website where one can find
all detail information.
Accommodation facilities are all located near the campus and the
City-centre. There is a friendly Accommodation Team that helps the student
to find a proper place to stay.
The Alumni Association has a free membership where one get the facility of free copies of Alumni magazines, Special benefits-services and discounts,
Reunions and other events and monthly News Letters through e mail.
Sports, Career advice, Students Union, University's own recruitment agency, Techno Centre Conference, Car rent, Wine Club are few other facilities that the University provides.
