Under King Edward VII, College of Medicine was set up in 1929 as the first Dental School of the eastern Asia. In 1966, it attained the full Faculty status and presently producing over hundred trained practitioners in the Asia Pacific region. Located at the National University Hospital Campus at Kent Ridge, the School has:

Faculty of Dentistry, provides high quality research, training and services aided with latest scientifically oriented facilities. There are 25 full-time staffs excluding staff from Department of Medicine and visiting specialists. Present research works includes Aesthetic braces for a winning smile; Novel scaffold to guide bone re-growth; Fighting Tooth Decay with Laser.
