Pedagogy in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is effective and interesting with a series of rigorous, challenging and original topics. Being the second largest department of NUS in terms of student enrollment, FASS has 15 departments offering varied programmes for under-graduates, graduate and post-graduates, as well as extensive research facilities which have brought global recognition to the university.
The Degree level in Under-graduate cirriculum offers an interesting course called Double Degree Programme where you can pursue two separate degrees from two discipline areas in two different Faculties.

To the Graduate students, FASS appears to be a Faculty of choice chiefly in Asian studies. Vibrant research culture is encouraged here by offering attractive scholarships and research grants to the prospective students.
The faculty's main Post-graduate degree programme is offered on International Studies.
