The Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) is a tertiary education institution owned by the government, providing educational services for the past 30 years. It is the only state tertiary institution in Taranaki. The institution specilises in English language courses and Foundation programs for international students. WITT also focuses on vocational courses and seeks to concentrate on career based education.
Location : The main campus of the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) is sited very close to the centre of New Plymouth, located on the west coast of New Zealand's North Island.

Library & Learning Resources : The library at the WITT provides books, serials, theses, digital and multimedia resources to support the taught courses. The library provides study areas, catalogues, online search and multimedia workstations along with photocopying, scanning, printing and audiovisual facilities.
Accommodation : The Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) has two accommodation blocks located at the rear end of the main campus. Accommodation consists of fully equipped single or shared bedrooms. Accommodation is on campus and for both domestic and international students.
