The Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawke's Bay has been providing educational services to both domestic and international students over the last 30 years, being established in 1975. The programs offered by the institution combine theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawke's Bay is a New Zealand Government Tertiary Institution.
Location :
The Eastern Institute of Technology is sited in Hawke's Bay which is a province located on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. The institution is placed between the twin cities of Napier and Hastings. The main campus is in Taradale. The Hastings Centre and the Waipukurau Centre are the two other campuses of the institute.

More than 90 programs are offered by the Eastern Institute of Technology at postgraduate, degree, diploma and certificate level.

Library & Learning Resources :
The library at the Eastern Institute of Technology is known as the Twist Library. The resources available to support the taught courses are books, newspapers, CD-ROMs, databases, and video & audio tapes. The library's computing facilities for students include access to the Internet. In addition, the Learning Centre provides learning assistance to students.
Accommodation :
The Student Residential Village of the Eastern Institute of Technology provides accommodation to students in a complex of six villas accommodating six students in each of them. Accommodation consists of a furnished bedroom and shared kitchen, bathroom and lounge. Other than this, the institute also provides private sector accommodation in the form of ‘Homestay' or Flats.
