The School of Creative Arts is an integrated part of the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Ireland. The prime aim of this school is to create high quality artists, designers and practitioners. The programmes of the school are mostly involved with animation, communications design, visual arts practice, photography, model making, film/TV and broadcasting media.

The lecturers at the school are mostly successful and experienced practitioners in their respective fields. The class sizes are small in the school so that the students can get enough practical work together with theoretical knowledge. The links with the professionals at the various cultural centers and creative industries is maintained by the schools to help the students get an idea of the rapidly growing professional environment.
The school has bagged many national and international awards and it is even known as the National Film School.
