National University of Galway has a good collection of books, journals, articles and other study materials in their James Hardiman Library which the students can access and carry on their research work.
There are some scholarships given to the students by the university as a mark of their achievement. There are certain scholarships given to the students from their respective departments as well.
The Student Accommodation office provides a register of lodgings for all the students which include staying with a host family and Student Residences. There are nine Student Residences providing self-catering housing specifically for NUI Galway students.
