The Limerick Institute of Technology was established in 1993 and is an institute of higher education at Moylish Park,Caherdavin in Limerick,Ireland.The Institute offers courses at certificate,diploma and degree level in subjects such as Business,Engineering, Information Technology and Science as well as in other academic disciplines.Modern Apprenticeships,Adult Education and Art and Design courses are also offered by the Institute.Combination of academic excellence with professionalism is what the Institute looks forward to.In addition to this,the Institute offers a wide range of postgraduate studies and research opportunities paving the way for doctorate level qualifications.
The Library of the Limerick Institute of Technology is bi-locational.The Technical Library is located in the Moylish Park campus while the Art Library is located in the Clare Street campus. Online library can also be accessed by the students.( http://mislibsrv.lit.ie/ )
Accommodation service is available to the students on a referral basis from mid-August onwards. There are certain students' villages which accommodate students and are in close proximity to the Institute.

Scholarships are also granted to the students of the Limerick Institute of Technology on the basis of academic merit, efficiency in sports and to potential students in financial distress.
