The Law Faculty hosts the Irish Centre for Human Rights and the Disability Law & Policy Research Unit. It also has a direct involvement in the Marine Law & Ocean Policy Centre based in the Marine Science Institute
The Law Library offers an extensive range of materials for research and study. There is an on-line database which provides access to over thirty thousand sources including law reports, full text journals and legislation, as well as over 3,000 full text newspapers and magazines.
The Student Accommodation office provides a register of lodgings for all the students which include staying with a host family and Student Residences. There are nine Student Residences providing self-catering housing specifically for NUI Galway students.
