The Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University College Cork was established in 1913. It is one of the oldest Medicine Schools established in Cork. Recently, the Faculty is undergoing extensive development. It currently has over 2,000 students studying under this faculty.
Location : The faculty is located at the Brookfield Health and Sciences Complex on the western end of the campus. There are several buildings containing several departments of this faculty.

Library & Learning Resources : The learning resources related to the subjects taught at the Faculty of Medicine and Health are provided by the individual departments. The UCC Main Library is available for the students, containing all necessary resources for the courses taught at the Faculty.
Accommodation : The UCC offers its students two options for accommodation – Campus Accommodation and Off-Campus Accommodation. The Campus Accommodation provided by the university consists of five buildings – the Castlewhite Apartments, the Farranlea Hall, the Victoria Lodge, The Spires and the University Hall. Campus accommodation is available in self-catering student apartments with single bedrooms, mostly with en-suite facility and 24 hour broadband internet access. The institute also offers the provision for Off-Campus accommodation in the form of private apartments, houses and ‘Homestay'.
Scholarships : No exclusive scholarships are available for the undergraduate students. However, some research grants and funds are available specifically through this department.
