The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is an integral part of Dublin City University.The Faculty offers excellent opportunities to the students to study and work in the distinctive degree and research programmes.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has four Schools under it.
They are :

- School of Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies
- School of Communications
- School of Law and Government
The Faculty offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Research programs are also carried out by the various Schools of the Faculty.

On campus accommodation facility is provided to the students in the Dublin City University's Halls of Residence.Off campus accommodation services are also available to the students of the Faculty.
