Comprising approximately 200 staff and 4,500 students, the College of Human Sciences, University College Dublin (UCD) is one of the most successful and venerable colleges of the University located at UCD's Belfield Campus.

Scholarships
UCD 150 Scholarships Scheme: This Scheme has been designed for first year Undergradutes enrolling into the University College Dublin for the session starting in September 2007. UCD will award 16 scholarships under this Scheme, the worth of each scholarship being €2,500 per year.
Facilities
The Library houses a special Postgraduate Research Centre that exclusively stocks materials for the fields of Human Sciences and the Arts. This Centre has the following features:
- It has 35 personal workstations with online facilities and 4 exclusive areas for laptops.
- It has a large area allotted for group discussions and combined study. This area is connected with telephones and is linked to other computers and the Internet. Printing facilities are also present.
The University's extensive grounds offer enough space for outdoor sports. The grounds have been used to create aquatic facilities, a track for athletes, natural grass pitches, a hockey stadium, and tennis courts.
The University's Belfield Campus can accommodate a couple of thousand undergraduate and postgraduate students in three to six bedroom flats. These flats provide access to the LAN, laundry facilities and are at close proximity to food outlets, cafes, and shops on Campus. However, students have to arrange for their own meals in these flats.
