The College of Engineering, Mathematical and Physical Sciences is one of the many Colleges of the University College Dublin. The College constitutes 7 Schools, which are located at Belfield and Earlsfort Terrace. The College employs approximately 300 staff members who teach and assist an increasing number of students every day.

Facilities
The Library at the Belfield Campus provides a number of services to the students and staff besides its conventional service of lending books. Some of these services have been listed below:
- Taking orders from staff members for the purchase of new books for the students
- Maintaining extensive catalogues for all the books concerning all the subjects taught in the College's 7 Schools
- Providing disability services
- Providing individual and group study areas
- Assisting postgraduate and research students to find information
- Providing photocopying and printing facilities
- Providing Library Guides to students to familiarize them with ‘what is located where in the Library' so that they may find information easily.
Student Advisers extend support to all the students, especially to the First Year Students of the University. Student Advisors provide the students with a platform to voice their thoughts and worries on social, personal and academic matters.
The Belfield Campus provides accommodation to 2,500 students (undergraduate and postgraduate) of the University.
