University of Erfurt, Germany is the place where a perfect blending of traditional and modern education can be seen. The University of Erfurt has a long history which dates back to 1392.It was then established as Germany's third university after Heidelberg and Cologne. The university was closed in 1816 and was reopened again in 1994.
