The University of Bayreuth known to be one of the youngest universities in Germany is located in the southern outskirts of Bayreuth, just a few miles away from the centre of the city and offers its approximately 9500 students a wide range of possibilities. About two dozen university organizations including European Law Students Association
(ELSA), AIESEC Bayreuth, the Market Team or the Bayreuth Initiative for Ecology in Business – contribute ever-changing stimulating academic life. Numerous initiatives in theatre, music, sports, religion or politics enable the students join their peer-group and initiate different activities and events.
Accommodation:
Accommodation in Bayreuth is easily available to the students. Student dormitories are located right on the campus perimeter.
Library:
The Library is located in the centre of the campus and provides necessary materials for research and academic studies. The resource centre also helps the students immensely in their projects.
Grants and Scholarships: Depending on the research projects individual students are provided with grants which are either granted by the department itself or the University goes through the application and decides on the grants.
