Surrounded by beautiful meadows and extensive forests, the campus of Friedensau Adventist University is located in a secluded natural environment. On September 15, 1990, the University received the status of a state-recognized university. Since then, in addition to the Theological Faculty which has been offering a Diploma in Theology, a Christian Social Science Faculty has been established. Presently, besides the Diploma courses in Theology and Christian Social Work, a Magister course with the major subject's of Biblical Systematic Theology, Social Science and International Development Cooperation can also be taken as well as a course in preparation for musical studies.

- The library is open six days a week and also on most holidays

- The University is responsible for the care of both unmarried and married students and their families.
- The well-equipped cafeteria provides for the physical well-being of the students, personnel and guests of Friedensau Adventist University with a diversified vegetarian menu.
- External students and non-singles, personnel and guests are given the opportunity to pay cash for meals, or to purchase a barcode card. Payments made with this barcode card are given a 20% discount.
