The University's main campus is located at the northern end of Paris in Saint Denis. There are 6 separate campus sites. At the time of foundation in the year 1968, the university was then known as the “Centre experimental de Vincennes”. Today the university enrolls more than 27,000 students including students from outside France.
Courses and Study Fields
The Art Department of the university is the biggest in France.
The levels of qualifications are divided into three separate categories;
- LMD
- Institution-specific diploma
- Other national diplomas
The study programmes of the faculty of Humanity and Social Science include subjects like; history, sociology, anthropology, psychology, psychoanalysis, law, economics, geography, literature, foreign languages, urban studies, European studies, computer science and mathematics.
The ranges of Research Areas are:
