The Universite Rene Descartes - Paris 5 located at the center of Paris Latin Quarter was established in 1970. It is one of the leading universities of Health Science in France.
Fields of Study
The University primarily concentrates on Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Biochemical Sciences. The University provides over 200 French National Diplomas in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, biomedical sciences, humanities, social sciences, economics, management, computer science, mathematics and physical science.

Learning Resources
The University has 55 Laboratories. 20 of them are CNRS affiliated and 35 of them are affiliated with INSERM. There are provisions of online resources and intranet facility. New students are always supported and helped by the orientation, tutorials and advisory teams.
There is also a French learning center, specially created for the betterment of International students.
