The Sorbonne Nouvelle University is a publicly owned university. The faculty of theology is one of the most important parts of the university. It is located in Paris, France. It was founded in the year 1970 when the University of Paris disintegrated into thirteen parts.
The courses offered are:
- Formations of Level Licence
- Formations of Master level
- Formations of level Doctorate
- Formations corresponding to diplomas of university
Formations of Master Level are further divided into two parts:
- Master professional
- Master Seeks
High number of research scholars flock at the Universite Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle from around the world. There are six doctoral schools. They are:
- French and compared literature
- Latin Europe –Latin America
- Performing arts, Communications and Information sciences( ASSIC)
- Language and languages: description, theorization, transmission
- Anglophone studies
- Space European contemporary policies, economics, companies, cultures
The library of the university is very well equipped. It is divided in three parts:
- Common Service of documentation
- Holy library Genevieve
- Library of the Eastern Language
The university has a common service of information and orientation, a student association and a physical and sporting activity service. There is accommodation facility within the university sporting center which is located at central Paris.
