Universite Montpellier I is considered as one of the oldest Universities of Europe, founded in year 1289. Actually the Universite of Montpellier is comprised of three divisions. This University is famous for Medical school, while the other 2 possess the Science and Technology Faculty and Humanities faculty respectively. The Medical Faculty is the first medical school in the world, which still exists.
Apart from this, the university offers a wide range of streams of study. Some of the Courses offered:

A fixed number of French scholarships and grants are available for the International Students, according to their competence and need.
